Stay and play in the heart of Port A in this cozy cottage located just off-the-beaten-path in Old Town Port A. Sleeps four with a Full Kitchen & Bathroom. Short Walk or Golf Cart Drive to Restaurants, Bars, Beach and Shops.
This open efficiency-style floor plan offers a queen bed and a futon. The kitchen is equipped with cooking and dining utensils and an expandable dining table. Flat screen TV and WiFi are also available.
This cottage does not offer central air conditioning, but is equipped with window units for your comfort.
BR1- Queen bed with a full bathroom
Also includes a futon bed!
*PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY! Pets that are 50lbs or less are welcome! A $200 non-refundable deposit and a non-refundable $50 cleaning fee PER pet is required for your furry friend/s to stay with us. Please note that additional fees may be incurred if there is significant wear and/or damage to the property.
When bringing a pet, please ensure it does not bother other guests with excessive noise, barking, etc. Guests are responsible to keep pets on a leash and pick up after their pets and dispose of waste properly.

***Parking is located in front of the property and has a maximum number of 1 vehicle.

We came to fish for our anniversary and stayed here. It was very cozy. It’s a tiny home and very cute. Management and maintenance was very nice. Definitely would come back.

It is a cute little house in a great location, Walkable to many restaurants and it was a 15 minute walk to the beach. Perfect for us!
The only thing was it was a little dusty. It almost seemed like it was construction dust but didn’t see any construction.

The toilet was almost unusable. It is tucked in a small space that it too tight for a medium sized person. The toilet seat seems to be fit for a child. You really need to fix this.
It would be nice if the property included a broom to keep the sand buildup at a minimum.
When we arrived the external garbage can was more than full. The next day folks from the next door unit overflowed it. After a call property management did come and explained that it needed to be moved to the street a half a block away. I suggest you improve this because it was not obvious to me even after reading the management handout.
Pets welcome was a big attraction for me.

It was clean and cozy, no frills place to rest and relax between activities we go to the beach to enjoy. The queen bed was comfy, but the futon was not at all. Any more than two people would be super crowded. There is not a lot of space. If you are coming for a quick weekend and want a place you can stay with your dog, this place will do just fine. It was close to everything including the beach. We were worried about running about 15 minutes late (it said no early check in so we timed it to arrive at 4) and then we had to drive around for nearly an hour waiting for them to get the place ready for us. But they were nice and we had to put on our patients. Not a deal breaker.

So, I guess this was a storage shed and someone recently added a bathroom and kitchen counter? It was very tight! But the location is in the center of town, and we don't go to Port Aransas for the accommodations, we go for the beach and the food, and this place was close to all of that. Location aside, our experience with the property was uneven. The parking is weird because you access the property through an alley. The guy next door was very rude about where we parked, but where are we supposed to park?!? The place was funky and tres' Port A, which give bonus points in my book, and the beds were comfy and everything worked. We could have done without the paint cans still lying around and it would have been nice to have an email regarding checkin earlier (we had to ask for it late on the day before.) I am glad Port A is back and I assume these little cottages which are popping up to fill the gap left by the big condos will find their groove by the time summer gets into full swing.

We've stayed here on a number of occaisions and every time was enjoyable. This is a pet friendly place so your fur babies can also enjoy. Always clean, no bugs or alarming odors to contend with making it feel like your pet is safe from accidental exposure to any poisons or chemicals in the area. A small place for a simple enjoyable getaway!
