Your Vacation is Safe with Starkey Properties

At Starkey Properties, your safety is our top priority. We are committed to providing you with the latest updates regarding COVID-19 in Port A. Additionally, we have created a specific policy to address any concerns related to your upcoming vacation.

Updated 4.19.2020: There have been 90 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nueces county. Six of those cases are in Port Aransas. The City of Port Aransas is following State Guidelines and has limited restaurants to take-out or delivery only. Bars have been closed and gatherings reduced to 10 people or less. The City of Port Aransas is also monitoring the amount of guests per home. Groups larger than 10 will be asked to leave. Nueces county has been issued a "Stay At Home" order until April 9th, 2020.

We realize this is a fluid situation, and that you may want to postpone or cancel your vacation. Your safety and wellbeing is our top priority. As such, we have activated our Vacation Continuation Policy to protect your upcoming Port A vacation. Please learn about this policy and find answers to your FAQ's below.

Starkey Properties' Vacation Continuation Policy

  • Reservations with stay dates between March 14, 2020 and April 30, 2020 may move or cancel their reservation for a full refund or full credit transfer.
  • Reservations with stay dates after April 30, 2020 may move their reservation twice without any charge. 
  • Reservations may be moved to any date from May 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
  • Reservations may be moved to the original house or condo that was rented. We will review property change requests at our discretion.
  • Please contact Starkey Properties to move your vacation dates or request a cancellation.
  • Starkey Properties may modify or extend these policies based on the evolving nature of COVID-19.

Are you open?

Our main office is closed due to a stay at home order until April 8th, 2020. You may still reach us by form below.


Are you accepting bookings? 

Absolutely! You may book directly online at for any stay dates after April 30th, 2020.


Can I move my vacation dates?

Absolutely! We have adjusted our policies so that you may move your vacation dates twice without any charge during this time. If you would like to move your vacation simply contact us by the form below or give us a call.


Can I cancel my vacation?

Currently, you may cancel your reservation if your check-in date is between March 14th and April 30th, 2020. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund. If you are cancelling a vacation after April 30th, 2020, you will be charged a cancellation fee at this time.


If I move my vacation, can I stay in a different property?

Your new vacation dates should be booked at the same property. If none of the available dates work well for you, Starkey Properties will review your stay and provide alternatives at our discretion.


What are you doing to clean rentals?

Our cleaners are spending extra time cleaning and disinfecting our properties, paying special attention to flat surfaces and "frequent touch" surfaces such as knobs, remotes, switches, etc.
