Starkey Properties Rental Policies

Age Requirements

Starkey Property Management only rents to responsible parties. All guests must be 25 years or older unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A state driver's license or other acceptable ID is required at check in.

Starkey Property Management does not allow rentals for Wedding Parties, Fraternity Parties, Bachelor or Bachelorette Parties.

Guest also understands that a 3-4 night minimum stay is required on all major holidays. Starkey Property Management reserves the right to refuse service.

Cancellation Policy

The Guest agrees to the following CANCELLATION POLICY:

Reservations between 1 - 29 Nights
Upon booking a 30% deposit is due with the final balance DUE 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 61 days or more prior to arrival are subject to a full refund minus the $100.00 - $200.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days prior to arrival are subject to full forfeiture of payment. Reservation dates can not be moved after final payment has been made unless the property is unavailable. There are no refunds for early departures. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Checks are accepted for Winter Texan and Chapel on The Dunes Reservations ONLY. Checks/Money orders are to be mailed to P.O. Box 1780, Port Aransas Texas, 78373. Rates are subject to change without notice. Published rates do not include the applicable lodging tax, reservation fee, or cleaning fees. 

Winter Texans Cancellation Policy

Reservations 30 plus Nights

  1. Return guests that stay for a minimum of 2 months will have 2 weeks from the date of their arrival to reserve the same property for the next year. Advance Deposits will be required at the time of booking.
  2. A $600.00 advance deposit is required at the time of reservation. All payments can be paid by Cash, check, or money order.  No reservation will be confirmed without a credit card, debit cards are not an approved form of payment.
  3. The remaining balance of the first month's rent and all fees will be due 60 days prior to arrival.
  4. Each monthly rental charge after your arrival is due 30 days in advance.
  5. Upon arrival, you will be charged for your second month's rent, if applicable, and so on each month. Each month is prepaid 30 days in advance.
  6. Cancelations must be made more than 90 days prior to arrival to receive a full refund less a $100.00 cancelation fee.
  7. Cancelations within 90 days of arrival are subject to forfeiture of all deposits. At the time of booking, you will be entering into a contractual agreement for the full amount of your stay.

Travel Insurance

Please read this information about the travel insurance policy or description of coverage for your Covered Trip if you have paid for or authorized payment for the travel insurance. The travel protection, if purchased, provides reimbursement for unused, nonrefundable payments if your trip must be canceled. Covered reasons include: mandatory hurricane evacuations; sickness, injury or death; extension of school year; armed service revocation; involuntary termination of employment or other specific reasons listed in the policy/Description of Coverage. Exit Cleaning

Starkey Property Management requires an exit cleaning fee plus tax on all units. The cleaning cost is based on the square footage and size of the rental and will be included in the final payment.

Lost and Found

Starkey Property Management is not responsible for items left behind at properties. We will retrieve and ship guests' medications and/or jewelry for a fee of $25 plus shipping.

Pets

Guest understands that pets are allowed ONLY in pet friendly properties. Pets must be disclosed PRIOR to arrival and guest must pay REQUIRED PET FEE. Violators will be asked to leave with no refund and will be charged a $500.00 clean-up fee. 

We will allow one pet no larger than 25 lbs. unless otherwise stated in the property description. You are instructed that the pet must be on a leash when outside or at the beach. If an unauthorized pet is found in any unit you will be asked to leave without a refund. 

Key Pick Up — Port Aransas and Balinese

If you are renting a property in Port Aransas or staying at the Balinese, you will come to the Starkey office located at 121 Cut-Off Rd Port Aransas, TX 78373. Check in begins at 4:00 pm. Please contact the office if you will be arriving after normal business hours for instructions on where to find your keys.

Privacy Policy

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Security Policy

Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Refund Policy

All refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation. All sales are final and subject to the cancellation policies above.

Shipping Policy

All retail items will ship within 2 business days of the order being placed. All rental bookings will be e-mailed a rental agreement within 2 business days.
