When is my final payment due?

The final payment is due 30 days prior to your reservation.  You will receive a notice seven days prior, reminding you that your credit card on file will be charged for the balance due.  Any changes to your card on file, will need to be made prior to final payment.

Where do I mail my check/money order?

Even though you will be checking in at our office at 121 Cut Off Rd, you will need to mail your checks and/or money orders to P.O. Box 1780, Port Aransas Texas, 78373.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check in time is guarenteed by 6:00PM and Check out time is 11:00AM. Due to current CDC guidelines and additional cleaning protocols in place, we can not guarantee check in time until 6:00PM. Every effort is made to have your rental clean, sanitized and available as soon as possible on the day of your arrival. At this time we are not able to offer any late check outs. 

Where do I pick up my keys?

We are currently offering contactless check ins. The day before your arrival you will receive an email with instructions on how to obtain your keys and parking passes from the Starkey office located at 121 Cut-Off Rd. Port Aransas, TX 78373.

What do I do if I am planning to arrive after office hours?

Contact the office at 361-749-3591 to arrange for late arrival and to pick up your keys.

What do we do if we have an emergency after your office is closed?

We have a 24-hour answering service that will pick up emergency calls only. Please call us at (361) 749-3591.

Is the beach clean and accessible?

The beach is maintained by the city, and they do the best they can to keep it clean and safe for all of our visitors. The beach is free, except to park, and accessible to drive on, so pack up your car and come spend the day! Be sure to purchase your beach permit at any Stripes or the local grocery store IGA, and place on the windshield of your vehicle.

Do your properties allow pets?

Guest understands that pets are allowed only in “Pet-Friendly Properties”. Violators will be asked to leave with no refund, and will be charged a $500.00 clean-up fee. We will allow one pet, no larger than 25 lbs., unless otherwise stated in the property description. You are instructed to keep your pet on a leash when outside or at the beach. If an unauthorized pet is found in any unit, you will be asked to leave without a refund. Pet friendly properties incur a non-refundable $50 pet fee per reservation unless otherwise stated in property description. Pet fee per reservation is $50 and automatically added to each pet friendly unit. If you are renting a pet friendly property but are NOT bringing a pet please contact our office and notify us.

Do I have to bring sheets and towels?

No, all our properties are supplied with one set of sheets for each bed. Bath towels are supplied per number of people the house sleeps. Please bring your own beach towels.

Is the kitchen equipped?

The kitchen has coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, flatware, dishes. Only some properties have a blender.

How old do I have to be to rent a property?

The age requirement is 25 years of age, All guest must be 25 yrs or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. You will be required to show ID for verification.

Does everyone in my party have to be 25 years of age or older?

Yes, unless you are accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 25.

What is Self Catering?

All of our units are self-catering and offer no maid service during the stay. We supply the start-up supply of paper products. You will need to purchase or bring garbage bags, paper towels, coffee filters and bath tissue, as well as dishwashing soaps, bath soaps and laundry soap. For your convenience there is a grocery store on the island, a Wal-Mart in Aransas Pass, and an HEB Plus and Wal-Mart in Flour Bluff. All our properties are fully furnished with bed and bath linens, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. We do not offer daily towel service but many of our units have washers and dryers. All kitchens are equipped with pots, pans and dishes, and large & small appliances. Any specialty items you wish to cook with you will need to bring with you. 

Why can't I book online for same day arrival?

Online booking availability starts 2 days from the current date. Even if the unit is available, you cannot book it online within 48 hrs of arrival. This allows us time to process the payments, get the signature on the reservation agreement and inspect the property to make sure that it is ready for rental. If you would like to arrive within 48 hours we encourage you to call the office to make your reservation. Our sales staff will be able to help you schedule your visit and prepare your unit for your vacation.

Winter Texans

  • Return guests that stay for a minimum of 2 months will have 2 weeks from the date of their arrival to reserve the same property for the next year.
  • Advance Deposits will be required at time of booking. A $600 deposit can be paid by Check or Cash, and a credit card will be required for the remaining balance. No reservation will be confirmed without a credit card. Checks are to be mailed to P.O. Box 1780, Port Aransas Texas, 78373. The remaining balance of your first month's rent and all fees will be due and charged to your credit card 60 days prior to arrival.
  • Each monthly rental charge after your arrival is due 30 days in advance, so upon arrival you will be charged for your second month's rent, if applicable, and so on for each month. Each month is prepaid 30 days in advance.
  • The rental properties normally do not have land lines (phones) in the units. Please be sure to bring your cell or Trac phone, if needed.
  • Access and/or keys to mail boxes will not be given out. Guests must rent a Post Office box at the Port Aransas post office to receive their mail during their stay.
